Playboy joins the #DeleteFacebook party

If you’ve been perusing Playboy‘s seminude photos articles on Facebook, we regret to inform you that you won’t be able to do that any more. 

In a statement published Wednesday, Playboy announced it will leave Facebook’s platform and deactivate its official accounts. 

The statement makes it sound as if Playboy was actually relieved to finally be gone from Facebook. 

“For years, it has been difficult for Playboy to express our values on Facebook due to its strict content and policy guidelines. We have been faced with the only alternative being to alter Playboy‘s voice in order to meet Facebook’s views of what is and is not appropriate on its platform,” it says.  Read more…
