Sean “Diddy” Combs: musician, producer, television judge, all-around entrepreneur, and petty Photoshop pioneer. 

The man who consistently appears on the Forbes Celebrity 100 List flexed his latest hobby this week when he shared a legendary snap of rappers Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas. The only problem is that those are not the only folks that were in the original photo.

You don’t actually have to call Diddy ‘Brother Love’—turns out, he was joking the whole time

If you have a hard time keeping up with the shifting names of rappers and music moguls these days (there have been a lot of changes over the years!), don’t worry about Diddy’s announcement this past weekend.

It turns out, when he announced he was changing his name to “Love” or “Brother Love” on Saturday, he was just fooling us all. 

“Today I’ve come to the conclusion that you cannot play with the internet,” Diddy said in a video posted on Monday.

“Due to the overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion…I was only joking. Okay?” he explained. “I didn’t change my name. It’s just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is Love.” Read more…

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has decided to change his name to ‘Love’

When you turn 48 years old and already have the world at your fingertips, there’s really only one thing left to do: change your name. 

At least, that’s what Sean Combs—now formerly known as Diddy, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy—has done. The music mogul, who turned 48 on Saturday, took a break from his weekend festivities in Mexico to share an important announcement with the world. 

“I’ve been praying on this and I’ve decided…I know it’s risky and I know it’s corny to some people…I decided to change my name again,” he said in a video uploaded to social media.  Read more…
