Look at this adorable dog who decided to try on his owner’s lipstick

TwitterFacebook

Finding the perfect shade of lipstick can be a doggone difficult task, but it was no problem for this little guy.

Australian author Jenna Guillaume posted this photo of her dog, Jasper, wearing an absolutely perfect shade of pink.

Well. He found my lipstickpic.twitter.com/gMT8TkTibq

— Jenna Guillaume (@JennaGuillaume) March 14, 2019

According to Jenna, he got into a tube of “Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar that is no longer on the market.”

Despite the tragedy that Jenna will no longer be able to wear said lipstick, at least Jasper seized the opportunity to match his nails to his lipstick and get a great photo out of it. Read more…

The star of the 2019 Independent Spirit Awards was Glenn Close’s dog, Pip

TwitterFacebook

Glenn Close had a big night at the 34th annual Independent Spirit Awards, but her dog Pip was the evening’s real winner in the internet’s eyes.

Close, who scored a Best Female Lead win for her star performance in The Wife, brought along her dog, a Havanese, as her arm candy for the evening. And given that Pip is a tiny, fluffy pooch who clearly loves his mama, he became an instant star.

Safe to say that Glenn Close’s dog Pippin is star of this blue carpet so far. She told me that she’s going to bring him inside to her table and on stage if she wins#SpiritAwards pic.twitter.com/KB1wOKhzXl

Unleash the cuteness!

Forget about a partner — this perfect pup is the only date you need this Valentine’s Day. On such a high-pressure holiday, there’s no better way to ease the tension than with a precious pooch who comes bearing gifts.

This masterpiece was filmed with the all cinematic grandness of an episode of The Bachelor, but it has approximately 12 times the “aww” factor.

Move over Colton, there’s a new top dog in town.  Read more…

There’s a secret dog hidden in your YouTube video timeline

TwitterFacebook

YouTube hasn’t ever been one to skimp on the Easter eggs, but this is a new one for me.

It’s hidden away on the timeline that charts your progress through a video. If you highlight that timeline and hold left — either left on an attached game controller, or the left arrow key — in certain versions of YouTube (I’ll get to that in a minute), you can summon a dog.

It takes a bit, so be patient. If you’ve watched any of the video, it’ll rewind first. Then you want to keep holding left for another 10 or 15 seconds. Eventually, a little, brown dog, possibly a Corgi, will trot across your timeline, from left to right. Read more…

J.K. Rowling’s first tweet of 2019 contains an optical illusion and a very good dog

TwitterFacebook

J.K. Rowling would like to wish you a very happy new year.

And what better way to welcome in 2019 than with a gloriously captioned photo of her pooch, Brontë?

On Monday morning, the Harry Potter author posted this:

Happy New Year, everybody! Thrilled to announce that my resolution to breed a super race of gigantic West Highland terriers is already bearing fruit. The robotic mega-arm required to tickle them will be sold separatelypic.twitter.com/9wx4LbW6gf

— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) January 7, 2019

The ticklish hound in that photo is Rowling’s West Highland Terrier, who is also something of a regular on her Twitter feed. Read more…
