If you’re learning another language, it’s time for your daily reminder — have you practiced your Español today? Your Français? Deutsch? If not, you better watch out. The Duolingo Owl may be coming for you. 

Duolingo is a language-learning app that takes a gamification approach to reaching goals in your target language. Their mascot is a cutesy little owl named Duo, who sends you daily reminders to practice. 

But what if happen you miss a day, or forget? Duo is not a very forgiving beast.
