Some people have crazy sex fantasies — no judgment. However, doing it, or portraying yourself doing it, on top of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world may be crossing the line. Danish photographer Andreas Hvid did exactly that, which instantly pissed off a lot of people and caused Egyptian officials to launch an investigation. He doesn’t plan to travel to Egypt again anytime soon. Check out our video to see the controversial image. Read more…

The river otter was first spotted in the Chinatown attraction’s garden on Nov. 17, reportedly making its way to the koi pond and starting its fishing rampage.

Since Saturday, a river otter has been spotted in the Garden’s pond, where it has eaten at least 5 of our adult koi@ParkBoard is working to relocate the otter, and an investigation is under way to determine how it got here: https://t.co/xK9zwUQu8w

Netflix’s docuseries ‘Haunted’ has fans skeptical about the truth, so we investigated

TwitterFacebook

“You call ‘em strays. They were disposable. Human life meant nothing and that’s what he tried to teach, that people—once you got what you needed from them—the best thing you could do was get rid of them. That way, it would never come back onto you.”

That’s Jacob, a middle-aged man from upstate New York, recounting a childhood consumed by terror. Jacob sits alongside his mother and aunt, Sadie and Terrilyn. A camera pans across their gaunt faces as each subject recounts the realities of living with their family patriarch—a man responsible for dozens, if not hundreds, of murders.

Jacob continues to paint a horrific, vivid portrait, detailing what it was like to be “groomed” by his serial killer grandfather. He has nightmarish anecdotes of abuse and theories on where many of these victims are buried. Jacob even has memories of destroying hundreds of grandpa’s “trophies” following his death.   Read more…

Painfully awkward photo shows Mueller and Trump Jr. waiting at the same airport gate

TwitterFacebook

Politico caught Donald Trump Jr. and Robert Mueller very awkwardly hanging out at the same airport gate in Washington D.C. on Friday.

In the photo, Don Jr. — or as he likes to call himself in his gym selfies, Donald Pump — leans against the back wall talking on the phone. Despite his camouflage hat, he fails to blend into the airport’s stark gray wall because he’s wearing an unreasonably bright teal shirt. He’s doing what we’ve all done before when we run into someone we really don’t want to make small talk with: chilling on his phone.

Apple tells U.S. government it isn’t slowing old iPhones to get people to buy new ones

TwitterFacebook

Apple has confirmed the U.S. government is investigating the company after it was discovered Apple slowed down (a.k.a “throttled”) older iPhones. The U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission are reportedly probing the company, though Apple wouldn’t confirm any specific agencies.

The tech giant, however, has denied any malicious intent, and reiterated that “we have never — and would never — do anything to intentionally shorten the life of any Apple product, or degrade the user experience to drive customer upgrades.”
