Don Lemon breaks down why Kevin Hart’s ‘apology’ just doesn’t cut it

TwitterFacebook

Kevin Hart probably expected his interview with Ellen DeGeneres, one of the most beloved lesbians in America, to clear him of any wrongdoing.

Instead, Hart sparked even further outrage, claiming that he had already apologized to the LGBTQ community — when no real apology could be found. Ellen was quick to accept Hart’s claim.

Twitter and CNN host Don Lemon was not.

On his show Friday, Lemon carefully broke down why Hart’s “apology” wasn’t good enough for him. Hart had previously agreed to stop posting offensive content, but only because crowds had grown more sensitive. Read more…

Kevin Hart withdraws from hosting the Oscars

TwitterFacebook

Kevin Hart has stepped down as Oscars host.

In a tweet posted late on Thursday, the comedian said he did not want “to be a distraction” on the night, and apologized to the LGBTQ community for his “insensitive words from my past.”

Hart added in another tweet that he was “sorry that I hurt people,” and hopes one day he and the Academy can meet again.

I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year’s Oscar’s….this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past.

Kevin Hart released a truly awful statement about his homophobic tweets

TwitterFacebook

We live in the golden age of bad non-apologies, but Kevin Hart’s response to recent backlash over resurfaced homophobic jokes might take the cake.

“Stop looking for reasons to be negative… Stop searching for reasons to be angry,” Hart wrote in his Instagram, along with a grainy video of him shirtless expressing the same sentiments.

For those playing catch up: On Wednesday, Hart was announced as the host of the 2019 Oscars. Within hours, concerns were raised online that resurfaced a litany of (now-deleted) tweets.

One described how, if he ever saw his son playing with his daughter’s doll house, “I’m going 2 break it over his head and say n my voice ‘stop that’s gay.'” Others included him using homophobic slurs against other people. Read more…

The Rock’s call to vote is … really something

TwitterFacebook

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted a reminder to vote and it really is something else.

In his call to vote posted on Instagram on Monday, The Rock holds a poorly Photoshopped Kevin Hart in his massive, beefy arms. The Rock, playing the part of the hot paternal savior, appears to be flexing every muscle in his brawny body while cradling the tiny, incredibly stressed looking Hart.

Watching Kevin Hart being afraid of a baby ostrich is pure joy

TwitterFacebook

Comedian Kevin Hart being scared of things is always funny.

He’s particularly frightened of random animals, even when it comes to something as cute as Robert Irwin’s baby ostrich, who makes an adorable chirping noise.

“You know what she’s saying. I want some little black man, and all of his brothers,” Hart said on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.

In case you didn’t know, Hart has a bit of history with ostriches, something which he spoke about in 2009’s I’m A Grown Little Man when he was chased by one.

Hart is not so afraid of a falcon though, despite their frightful talons, managing to get close — if uncomfortably so. Read more…

We promise you’ve never seen The Rock and Kevin Hart like this

TwitterFacebook

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart’s friendship just reached an new, unexpected level.

Last week, Johnson welcomed a new baby girl to the family and he shared a photo of his daughter on Instagram to his millions of fans, as one does when you’re a bonafide film star and proud father.

But then on Sunday, he took that very photo and pushed it to new boundaries — boundaries that we didn’t know it couldn’t even go.

Basically, he shared a Photoshopped image of Hart taking the place of his new baby, crying face and all.

Kevin Hart got rejected at the Super Bowl, and the footage is hysterical

TwitterFacebook

Kevin Hart might have had the most fun out of anyone this Sunday.

The comedian, and Philadelphia native, was in attendance at Super Bowl LII, and he wasn’t afraid of having the time of his life—even if that meant making a fool of himself after the Philadelphia Eagles took home the trophy.

Thanks to some quick camerawork, the world got to witness Hart drunkenly attempting to make his way on stage with the team and the trophy. Only he wasn’t allowed through by security, and the rejection is hilarious to watch.

Kevin Hart joked about gender roles in parenting on ‘SNL’ and, it didn’t go so well

Kevin Hart is a funny man, but his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live this week felt like it came a few years too late.
Hart, who just had his third child, used his 6-minute opening monologue to fire off joke after joke about parenthood. It…
