Lady Gaga crashes Fred Durst’s Hollywood jazz night to perform Frank Sinatra hits

TwitterFacebook

Lady Gaga took her Hollywood golden age persona to a new level Thursday when she surprised a crowd at a Hollywood music venue to perform some jazzy standards.

Gaga appeared at the Black Rabbit Rose venue Thursday night where — get ready — LimpBizkit frontman Fred Durst organizes a weekly live jazz night. (Who knew?!?)

Gaga floated onto the stage wearing a ’50s-style halter dress, a large fur-looking stole, a beehive-esque bun, and some wicked cat eye. After greeting the band members with cheek kisses, she took the microphone and said “I’m here to ruin the party.” The crowed whooped. Read more…

Lady Gaga posts inspiring Instagram after ‘Shallow’ rises to number 1 in the charts

TwitterFacebook

As Lady Gaga’s famous quote goes, there can be a hundred records in the charts, and 99 don’t reach the top. But one does.

And that one record happens to be hers. “Shallow” is number one on the Hot 100 along with the soundtrack to A Star Is Born

This is a major milestone for Gaga, who wrote on Instagram that it’s her first number 1 in eight years. “It feels like ‘Just Dance’ going number one all over again,” she wrote.

Gaga also posted some advice in light of reaching her milestone.

“Rule #1: Never give up. Rule #2: Always listen to rule #1,” she wrote.   Read more…

‘A Star Is Korn’ is the bizarrely funny parody trailer you never knew you needed

TwitterFacebook

If you liked A Star Is Born, you’ll love A Star Is Korn. Probably.

The stunningly funny parody trailer is a lot like that of the hit film starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, except it focuses on the musical rise of Jonathan Davis, lead vocalist of the metal band Korn. Lmao.

We can see how A Star Is Korn might not sound like a trailer everyone wants to see, but stick with it until 1:11 at least. Trust us.

Comedians @badcomixbyanna and @HhiggZ — who star as Bradley Cooper and Jonathan Davis — were sadly snubbed by the Oscars on Sunday. But hey, maybe Korn will see this comedic masterpiece and show them some love. Read more…

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sang ‘Shallow’ at the Oscars and gave us all the feels

TwitterFacebook

Look, it’s not like we didn’t know Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were gonna sing “Shallow” at the Oscars.

But still. We were not prepared for All! The! Feels!

The A Star Is Born co-stars climbed the steps hand-in-hand, arriving at a stripped-down stage that had a grand piano, a couple of mic stands, and not much else.

Cooper got things started, and if he was a tiny bit off musically, he was definitely in the right place emotionally. Gaga joined in with vocals and piano, and the effect was exactly as magical – and exactly as romantic – as you’d expect. Read more…
