Someone made a PowerPoint to prove Lorde and Jack Antonoff are dating and it’s…remarkable

TwitterFacebook

Someone wise once said, “When you love something, PowerPoint it.”

An angel amongst us, @buzzkillary, has taken these words to heart. Hillary, bless her heart, hopped on Twitter on Thursday night to share with the world an extensive PowerPoint presentation revolving around the rumors that have swirled for months about Lorde and Jack Antonoff, the producer of her album Melodrama.

“Life update,” Hillary tweeted. “I recently made a claim that Lorde and Jack Antonoff are together and it’s taken me on a strange journey to the Truth, which I present to you in the way I best express myself — powerpoint.”  Read more…

Lorde posts heartfelt apology for ‘extremely poorly chosen’ Instagram caption

TwitterFacebook

Lorde has apologised to fans after Instagramming a photo of a bathtub captioned with a Whitney Houston lyric.

Lorde posted a photo of a bathtub on her Instagram alongside the words “and iiiii will always love you”—a lyric from “I Will Always Love You.” Whitney Houston’s version of the song—penned by Dolly Parton in 1973—became a huge hit after it featured on the soundtrack of The Bodyguard in 1992.

This Lorde tweet is an anthem for doing the least

TwitterFacebook

You know when you put in just a tiny bit of effort? Like when you write down the opening line of an essay due in a few hours, or completely wing a major presentation?

Lorde knows.

Feeling so creative atm it’s coming out my fingertips and trailing where i walk.. Lots of juicy thoughts and potential directions blooming

— Lorde (@lorde) March 28, 2018

The singer tweeted this incredible statement on Wednesday, expressing her “juicy thoughts” as her creativity just flows out of her fingertips and trails behind her as she walks.  Read more…

Lorde’s Grammy dress had a powerful detail you probably missed

TwitterFacebook

While the wearing of white roses was the way for artists to show solidarity with the #TimesUp movement at the Grammys, Lorde opted for words instead.

The New Zealand singer stitched an excerpt of artist Jenny Holzer’s Inflammable Essays on the back of her dress instead of a white rose, which she posted on Instagram.

“My version of a white rose — THE APOCALYPSE WILL BLOSSOM — an excerpt from the greatest of all time, jenny holzer,” Lorde’s caption read.

Lorde isn’t performing at the Grammys after all—and the reason will make you mad

TwitterFacebook

Per usual, the Grammys feature much-discussed performances from the biggest names in music—except this year, Lorde’s name won’t be discussed amongst other performers on Monday morning.

The New Zealand singer is up for Album of the Year alongside Donald Glover, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Jay-Z, but according to reports from Variety, everyone nominated alongside her were reportedly asked to deliver solo performances from their nominated albums during the televised ceremony except Lorde.

Rather than perform from the critically acclaimed album Melodrama, Lorde reportedly was offered a chance to sing “American Girl” by Tom Petty as a part of a tribute to the late singer—and declined.  Read more…

Parents turned their daughter’s request for Lorde tickets into an amazing prank

TwitterFacebook

What do Lorde and Pastor Joel Osteen have in common?

Not much at all, if we’re being honest, but the two were roped in a hilarious holiday prank thanks to some witty parenting.

Twitter user Jorji Kellogg shared a present on social media of a card from her parents and a ticket to see none other than megachurch superstar Joel Osteen. The catch? She had asked for Lorde tickets, not an experience with the Lord (you know, the one from the Bible).

A Lorde fan hung ‘Melodrama’ in the Louvre because it’s a damn work of art

TwitterFacebook

Lorde predicted her own album’s destiny when she wrote the lyrics: “we’re the greatest, they’ll hang us in the Louvre.”

A fan, who patently listened intently to the lyrics of “The Louvre,” hung Lorde’s album Melodrama in the Louvre. Why? Because Lorde is the greatest.

Nina Richard took along a copy of Lorde’s critically acclaimed album to the museum in Paris and hung it up among other works of art.

Hey @lorde , I hung Melodrama in the Louvre !

A masterpiece surrounded by others – l took it on a journey through time and space, from Antiquity, passing by Renaissance, to Modern Times.

(I had to do it very quickly cause security started to watch me and hunt down on me lol) pic.twitter.com/PlOZOqoA9l
