John Cleese reacts to Mark Hamill GIF, gets a reply from the Jedi himself

TwitterFacebook

Anyone who follows Mark Hamill on Twitter (and if you don’t, you really should), will know that he’s a big John Cleese fan.

Everyone’s favourite Jedi isn’t shy about it.

Exhibit A: A response he wrote to someone back in 2018, describing the Fawlty Towers star as “a comic idol”.

Cleese is a comic idol of mine. (I’m watching Fawlty Towers as I write this.) 😂

We don’t know if the pair have ever met IRL, but — on Tuesday — Cleese was introduced to Hamill on Twitter — in GIF form. Read more…

Mark Hamill hints at a possible Luke Skywalker appearance in the next ‘Star Wars’ movie

TwitterFacebook

Listen, we’re all still mourning the death of — spoiler alert! — Luke Skywalker after his flame was decidedly snuffed out in The Last Jedi

But are we 100 percent certain that we’ve seen the last of Luke? Well, take a look at this interview with Mark Hamill and decide for yourself.

Hamill talked to Jimmy Kimmel about his new role in Knightfall and how he had to wear a fake beard that was glued on over his real beard.

“I had to keep the beard for something else,” said Hamill.

Curious, Kimmel asked that the “something else” happened to be.

“Well it’s NDA, that’s non-disclosure agreement. Don’t quote me,” said Hamill.  Read more…

Mark Hamill went full dad joke with the Star Wars ‘Episode IX’ trailer

TwitterFacebook

Mark Hamill you rascal.

The Luke Skywalker actor had a good laugh at everyone’s expense on Saturday when he tweeted a look at his very own trailer for Star Wars Episode IX.  His very literal trailer that he hung out in when he wasn’t on set.

People keep asking me over & over & over again- “When will they release the #EpisodeIX trailer?”
A) I don’t know.
B) Until they do, just be satisfied with this exclusive look at my own personal #StarWars trailer.#PatiencePadawans #IXWillBeFineAllInGoodTime pic.twitter.com/aBeXdF57X9

Mark Hamill tweeted a sweet pic of a Luke Skywalker and Han Solo reunion

TwitterFacebook

One of the sadder parts of the new Star Wars trilogy is the fact that OG buddies Luke Skywalker and Han Solo never got to meet up before Han’s untimely death in The Force Awakens

Actors Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, however, are alive and still friends even after being killed off in the series that made them famous.

Hamill, who is an unyielding delight on Twitter, posted a picture of himself and Ford hugging and captioned it “What a Han/Luke reunion might have been like,” and with tens of thousands of RTs over just a few days, it’s clear Twitter had some feelings about it.

Mark Hamill and Ariana Grande share a glorious Twitter exchange over ‘Thank u, next’

TwitterFacebook

You’d think Mark Hamill was living in a galaxy far, far away. Or that he stopped following the music scene a long time ago.

The Star Wars actor just had a hilarious Twitter moment where he was blissfully unaware that he was quoting one of the most talked-about songs of the moment.

“Thank you, next,” Hamill wrote, which incidentally is both the title and the chorus of the latest song by Ariana Grande.

“Thank you, next”#TwitterTest4Twits

— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) November 10, 2018

Although Hamill wrote “you” and not “u”, like the lyric is technically spelled, Grande was quick to pick up on what she thought was a salute to her song from Luke Skywalker himself.  Read more…

Mark Hamill wandered around Comic-Con in stormtrooper armor, obviously

TwitterFacebook

If you were at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend and you saw someone who looked like they might be a little short for a stormtrooper, it was probably Mark Hamill.

The Star Wars legend and full-time internet rascal decided to have some anonymous fun at the annual fan gathering in San Diego. So he dressed himself up in a variety of costumes — including Imperial stormtrooper, a classic — and did the thing.

It all started innocently enough on Thursday, the day the show kicked off, with a bit of misdirection.

There’s an unsubstantiated rumor I’m at #SDCC right now wearing a mask to avoid being recognized (I’m not)-But if I really WAS there in disguise, would I lie about it to fool people-secretly talk to fans-attend panels & have fun? (I would) #ComicConCon pic.twitter.com/8vxvFsQg48

John Boyega tweets about ‘Star Wars’ fan harassment, Mark Hamill wades in

TwitterFacebook

John Boyega and Mark Hamill aren’t just forces for good in the Star Wars universe, you know. They’re also pretty great on Twitter.

This time it started when John Boyega took a serious moment to address the issue of actors being harassed by fans.

If you don’t like Star Wars or the characters understand that there are decisions makers and harassing the actors/ actresses will do nothing. You’re not entitled to politeness when your approach is rude. Even if you paid for a ticket! 🤷🏾‍♂️

Here are a bunch of photos of Mark Hamill pointing, just because

TwitterFacebook

First of all, Mark Hamill is a national treasure.

Whether it’s his portrayal of Luke Skywalker through the Star Wars films or his terrific Twitter feed that includes lots of interacting with fans, we’re all the better for having Hamill in our lives.

Which is why it’s so much fun to discover that, hey, Mark Hamill must really like other people (maybe even us!) because of how much he points at others.

Man, does he love to point. He even celebrates how much he points!

“Happy NATIONAL FINGER-POINTING DAY Everyone!” is what I would be saying if there were such a thing, but ignoring this nonexistent holiday would be tragically missing the point(s). 👆👈 👇👉#ApparentlyNotEverythingGetsADayTheseDays pic.twitter.com/kMEMFSalq7

Mark Hamill dropped the best truth about his ‘Star Wars’ mom, Natalie Portman, on Twitter

TwitterFacebook

Mark Hamill added to his delightful string of Star Wars stories on Saturday when he shared the startling fact that he’s never met his mother.

Well, his Star Wars mother to be exact.

As the official Star Wars Twitter account shared birthday wishes for actress Natalie Portman, who portrayed Padmé Amidala, mother to Luke and Leia, in the Star Wars prequels, Hamill remarked that he had never actually met the actress in real life.

FUN FACT: I’ve never met this womanhttps://t.co/YYIFku1CVQ
