Amy Poehler would be totally up for a ‘Parks and Recreation’ revival

We may now know the reason why a Parks and Recreation revival is yet to happen — and the issue doesn’t appear to be the willingness of certain cast members.

The problem may be that the show’s co-creator Mike Schur is just too damn busy.

“Mike Schur is currently working on about five shows,” Amy Poehler (aka Leslie Knope), told Variety on the carpet for Thursday night’s Parks and Recreation 10th anniversary reunion event. 

The good news? She definitely didn’t rule out the possibility of a return, once Schur has a bit more time on his hands. Read more…

Emilia Clarke opens up about health struggles while filming ‘Game of Thrones’

In an essay written for The New Yorker, Emilia Clarke has revealed the serious health struggles she faced while filming Game of Thrones. 

Shortly after production wrapped for Season 1 in 2011, Clarke remembers collapsing at the gym following a severe headache. The incident would mark the beginning of the first of two major surgeries for Clarke, each tied to a life-threatening brain aneurysm. 

“At some level, I knew what was happening: my brain was damaged,” Clarke recalls.

“The diagnosis was quick and ominous: a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke, caused by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain. I’d had an aneurysm, an arterial rupture.” Read more…

‘Schitt’s Creek’ to end after Season 6

It’s the end of an era, fellow fans of Schitt’s Creek. Co-creators Daniel and Eugene Levy announced in a heartfelt message that the comedy will return in 2020 for a sixth and final season. 

The duo are concluding it on their own terms with an ending they’ve always envisioned for the show.

Season 6, which will start shooting in a few weeks, will consist of 14 episodes.

Schitt’s Creek found its footing over the last few years and is easily one of the best comedies on air right now. It stars father-son duo Dan and Eugene Levy,  as well as Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, Noah Reid, Emily Hampshire, and Chris Elliott.  Read more…

Written and executive produced by Kaling, the show will focus on the complicated life of a first-generation Indian-American girl. The leading role is still to be cast, but come through, diverse onscreen representation!

Seems like an innocent question, but one that took an intense turn when posed by the beloved children’s program on Twitter.
