Paul Manafort’s lawyers tried to redact a court filing but it didn’t work. Oops.

Paul Manafort’s defense shot itself in the foot a bit when, in filing Manafort’s response to claims made by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, it didn’t properly redact sections of the submission — meaning anyone with the document can copy and paste the text underneath the black boxes.

When Paul Manafort’s lawyers submitted their latest pleading in federal court, they *tried* to redact some portions. They failed. You can copy the text right from underneath the black boxes. *facepalm* https://t.co/2gvYqsmE0i

Shoutout to the reporters who broke a sweat sprinting to deliver news of the Manafort verdict

TwitterFacebook

When President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was found guilty on eight counts — including filing false tax returns and bank fraud — journalists quite literally sprinted to report the news.

You see, with no cell phones allowed in the courthouse the word had to be delivered the old fashioned way — by foot. After Manafort was convicted on eight counts and 10 others were declared a mistrial, reporters burst from the Albert V. Bryan United States Courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia.

In the name of journalism, reporters fearlessly broke a sweat, and TBH it extremely entertaining to watch. Here’s video footage so you can feel the adrenaline secondhand. Read more…

The occasion of the mugshot was that Manafort was moved to a jail in Alexandria, Virginia thanks to his attorneys in a move that can only be described as a “clusterfuck.”

Manafort was previously being held at a rural Virginia jail about two hours from Washington, D.Cwhere he bragged about a “VIP” lifestyle, which included not having to wear a prison jumpsuit, getting to use his laptop. Manafort also had a private bathroom, unlike other inmates. His previous mugshot was not releasedRead more…

Sean Hannity had a perfect Freudian slip while talking about Hilary Clinton

TwitterFacebook

After discounting Manafort’s indictment as irrelevant and shrugging off Papadopoulos’ guilty plea with an “everybody makes mistakes” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Fox News host Sean Hannity turned to the person whose crimes he thought investigators should be focusing on: President Hillary Clinton.

But his call out of Clinton didn’t necessarily go as planned…

Yep, he called Hillary Clinton the President on air. (If you care to listen to Hannity’s dulcet tones, the President Clinton slip comes in around 3:20.) Read more…
