Dude gets caught eating pizza live on camera outside the Cohen hearing

TwitterFacebook

Have you spent all day watching the Cohen hearing, becoming more exhausted with each passing moment? Here is a man who also seems tired, except — unlike you, presumably — he got caught on a live CBSN camera eating pizza in a hallway.

Luckily for all of us, Mike Uhelein immortalized this extremely good moment by capturing and tweeting a video of his television screen. Observe Hallway Pizza Guy in the background: You can identify the exact moment he realizes he’s made the shot.

The pizza appears to be from pizza chain &pizza, which I had in an airport once. It was not my favorite pizza but it was pretty good. Read more…

Do your taxes on National Pizza Day and get a $10 gift card to Domino’s

TwitterFacebook

DIY is a concept we totally back, except for when it comes to one thing: Taxes.

And though the people at H&R Block enjoy it, they know that most of us would rather do literally anything else. So they said, “What could be better than doing people’s taxes for them?”

But then they realized today (Feb. 9) is National Pizza Day, and the deal of deals was born: Today only, anyone who has their taxes prepared virtually via H&R Block’s Tax Pro Go will get a free $10 Domino’s gift card — and you don’t even have to leave the house.

Sigh. H&R Block just gets us, ya know?

The debate about the battle of the best trash pizzas will forever rage on, but this deal is just another reason to give Domino’s a shot. Plus: Free pizza. Duh. Read more…

An 18-inch pizza has more pizza than two 12-inch pizzas, and people are losing it

TwitterFacebook

Are you ready for a mindblowing revelation?

If you’re splitting pizza with friends, you’ll technically get more bang for your buck by splitting one 18-inch pizza instead of ordering two 12-inch pizzas.

It sounds counterintuitive, but Fermat’s Library did the math: An 18-inch pizza has 254 square inches of “pizza,” while two 12-inch pizzas only have about 226 square inches.

Here’s a useful counterintuitive fact: one 18 inch pizza has more ‘pizza’ than two 12 inch pizzas pic.twitter.com/hePSpG0pJs

People were understandably confused — isn’t two more than one? Read more…

Little Caesars was caught with a shopping cart full of DiGiorno

TwitterFacebook

Brand Twitter is at it again.

Twitter user @vinandwesson caught Little Caesars committing the cardinal sin of trash pizza chains: getting cozy with the competition.

A viral video shows a Little Caesars employee guarding a shopping cart packed to the brim with … DiGiorno.

There has to be some secret pizza police investigating this, right?

DiGiorno was also perplexed, and responded with this passive aggressive emoji.
