The Game of Thrones Season 8 poster keeps things simple; this may be a rich and intricate story with enough characters and layers to fill thousands of pages – but it’s also about a bunch of warring royals and some dragons.
The final season’s poster returns to basics with a classic iron throne shot – but follow those swords down and you’ll see the hungry eyes of a dragon.

For a simple poster, there’s a lot to think about. For one thing, the Iron Throne is made of Valyrian steel swords, which are among the few weapons that can destroy White Walkers – this season’s number one enemy. What once was a throne for a monarch now looks like an arsenal to fight the Army of the Dead. Has anyone thought of taking this thing apart and using it as weapons?
