14 of the biggest royal family moments from 2018
What a year it’s been for the royal family!
While 2018 has been a mean old year for us mere mortals, those whose blood runs blue have had a festive year with not one but two weddings and some pretty major announcements.
Now that the year is coming to an end, it’s time to look back at the most memorable royal family moments from 2018.
1. *The* wedding
Two different royals may have tied the knot in 2018, but the first wedding of the year was also the most spectacular.
The whole world (or at least 29 million people, per Nielsen figures) watched Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle tie the knot in St George’s Chapel on May 19th. Not only was the ceremony quite the showstopper, the guest list was out. of. this. world. In attendance was the Queen of England *AND* the Queen of the Universe, Oprah. Read more…

On Friday, Kensington Palace’s social media accounts released the photo for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 2018 family Christmas card, and if you guessed it’d be STUNNING you are, of course, correct.
In a lovely autumn setting that looks like a straight up GAP ad, William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and baby Louis are seen gathered on a tree trunk near their Anmer Hall home.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family.

Meghan Markle just beat Prince Harry at ‘welly-wanging’
If you’re not from New Zealand, chances are you’ve no idea what “welly-wanging” is.
It is, in fact, a simple game of who-can-throw-a-rubber-Wellington-boot-the-furthest. And apparently, Meghan Markle is really good at it.

Prince Harry climbs the Sydney Harbour Bridge because he’s basically Spider-Man
It certainly looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are having a whale of a time on their first overseas royal tour together.
And now Prince Harry can tick climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge off his bucket list, too.
Prince Harry opened the fourth annual Invictus Games by climbing Australia’s Sydney Harbour Bridge — which measures a whopping 134 metres (439 feet) high — to raise the tournament’s flag.
He was accompanied by the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
Harry looked pretty fearless during the rather steep climb. Read more…

Why the next royal baby might not be a Prince or Princess
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced that they’ll be welcoming their first child in spring 2019.
But the latest addition to the royal family might not be a Prince or Princess.
Royal etiquette expert William Hanson told Mashable that the royal baby’s title all depends on the Queen’s decision.
“Any title given to the child will be at The Queen’s discretion and whim,” Hanson explained. “Due to Prince Harry’s status as 6th in line to the throne, and as the child’s as 7th once born, it is unlikely it will be made a Prince or Princess, but we won’t know until after the birth.” Read more…
