Somehow a thief was caught with the most amateur doodle

Another day, another hilarious police sketch. 

This time, we’re treated to more of a doodle than a detailed illustration from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While in search of a robber who made out with cash from Central Market by posing as an employee, a witness whipped up a sketch that somehow miraculously managed to trigger the memory of an investigator.

“While the sketch provided by the witness may have appeared amateurish and cartoonish, it, along with the distinctive physical descriptors, jogged the memory of at least one investigator to provide a potential suspect name,” the Lancaster Bureau of Police reads. Read more…
