Ted Cruz’s weird beard briefly distracted us all from Trump’s border stunt

TwitterFacebook

Donald Trump really did it, folks. Against all odds he found a way to distract the world from the 19 day government shut down — if only for a few minutes.

On Thursday, Trump took a trip down to the Mexican border to discuss the immigration crisis with border patrol agents, and guess who stood next to him: Senator Ted Cruz. But more importantly, Ted Cruz’s weird new beard.

Because it’s Texas (and Cruz likes to kiss ass) the Senator stopped by to support Trump, but it’s his beard that wound up stealing the spotlight. Seriously. The internet couldn’t look away.

Ted Cruz has a unsettling new ‘beard’ and people can’t look away

TwitterFacebook

No Shave November is almost over, but Ted Cruz’s “beard” looks like it’s just seconds old.

On Monday, Business Insider’s Joe Perticone tweeted that Ted Cruz had “grown a beard” over the Thanksgiving break, but some people are having a hard time locating it.

If you zoom in on the photo of Cruz, you’ll notice that dark area around certain parts of his jawline (and not at all his chin) appears to be hair. Not a shadow. Not dirt. Hmm. Fascinating.

How will Ted Cruz celebrate his victory over Beto? Twitter has some hilariously deranged answers.

TwitterFacebook

Hell hath no memes like those made by Beto O’Rourke fans after learning Ted Cruz was re-elected to his Senate seat in Texas.

On Tuesday night, as the results of the 2018 midterm elections were being tallied, Americans learned that Republican candidate Ted Cruz — the man who jokes about being the Zodiac Killer — had received more votes than his opponent — the burger-loving, skateboarding family man, Beto O’Rourke.

Naturally, many were displeased to hear the news. So while Cruz was busy giving his victory speech in front of loyal fans, others took it upon themselves to drag him.

Jim Carrey weighs in on Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke in a spooky new drawing

TwitterFacebook

Jim Carrey has drawn the dramatic face off between Beto O’Rourke and Ted Cruz ahead of the midterm elections, and it is (like most of his illustrations) a lot.

In another of his infamous political drawings, Carrey depicts Texas Democratic senate candidate Beto O’Rourke eviscerating his Republican opponent — a “vampire” Ted Cruz — with sunlight. Yes, you did read that correctly.

Go Beto! Go Democrats! Vote like there’s no tomorrow. Let’s make this Tuesday like the end of every great vampire movie. Pull back the curtains and let the sunshine turn all those bloodsuckers to dustpic.twitter.com/WWwspze5fU

Ted Cruz makes a Zodiac Killer Halloween joke in a last-ditch effort to be relatable

TwitterFacebook

The timeline just got a whole lot darker.

Still recovering from getting roasted for the time the Texas GOP tried to go after Beto O’Rourke for being cool, Ted Cruz has made a last ditch effort to be relatable.

Cruz tweeted a picture of the Zodiac Killer’s cryptic cipher on Wednesday, adding a festive “Happy Halloween.”

It’s not the first time Cruz has acknowledged the meme that claims he was the the Zodiac Killer. Last year, he replied to a tweet with the same cipher.  Read more…

Donald Trump has an upsetting new nickname for Ted Cruz

TwitterFacebook

The long, twisted relationship between President Donald Trump and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) continues as Trump coins a new nickname for one of his most heated 2016 GOP rivals: “Beautiful Ted.”

Trump shared his new nickname for Cruz while speaking to reporters on Monday as he prepared to leave for yet another rally, this time down in Texas in support of the senator’s re-election efforts.

“To me, he’s not ‘Lyin’ Ted’ anymore—he’s ‘Beautiful Ted,'” Pres. Trump tells @jonkarl about Ted Cruz ahead of Houston rally. “I call him ‘Texas Ted.'” https://t.co/NkJuIoh4fP pic.twitter.com/ekKgDPNQM5
