After President Trump disinvited the handful of Philadelphia Eagles who were still willing to visit the White House, you knew The Daily Show would have plenty to say on the matter, and Trevor Noah did not disappoint. 

Bringing in jokes about both Trump’s inauguration crowd and the Cleveland Browns, Noah also took the opportunity to mock Trump’s fill-in celebration — the MAGApalooza where he seemed to forget the words to “God Bless America.” And, yes, the fact that the Eagles never actually kneeled for the anthem during the 2017 season came up, too.

But Noah really nailed it when he explained why Trump shouldn’t be messing with Eagles fans. Sure, he won Pennsylvania by a very narrow margin so he has little room for error. But, mostly, Noah wants us to remember: “These are the same people who almost burnt down their own city when they were happy.” Read more…
