You might have given up your cable box a while ago, but if you’re starting to miss recording your favorite weekly shows it might be time to dip your toes back into the cable life again.

Look, we know TV providers are continually increasing their prices, but you don’t need a cable plan to record live TV anymore. The Amazon Fire TV Recast lets you watch and record over-the-air TV with no monthly fees. Great news, right? Even better, the Fire TV Recast is on sale — save up to $50 depending on the amount of storage you want.

Because the Fire TV Recast’s main function is a DVR, it is not a solo device. In order to record and watch programming you need an HD antenna to receive channels and a Fire TV device to access the content. Once you have the necessary setup, you’re able to take your shows with you through the Fire TV mobile app on compatible devices. Read more…

How to watch ‘The Bachelor’ live online

TwitterFacebook

You know a show is good when every finale is “the most shocking yet” and every season is “the most dramatic in history.”

The ultimate guilty pleasure that is The Bachelor is so corny-in-a-good-way, we actually look forward to Mondays. Every episode, finale, and season are that intense for devoted superfans, even if Chris Harrison is paid to exaggerate in those narrations.

There’s just something so fun about drinking while watching men and women cry over a person they just met. Haters can hate — that’s more wine for us.

Any veteran member of Bachelor Nation knows that missing an episode is comparable to the pain of being sent home on a two-on-one. When watching ABC via cable isn’t an option, there are streaming services that have your back — because reading spoiler live tweets just isn’t an option. Read more…

TwitterFacebook

If you’ve already wept your way through all of Season 2 of Queer Eye, here’s a little bite-sized cry for ya.

The Fab Five dropped a surprise episode set in Australia, in which they visited the real life town of Yass — and were made official Yass Queens.

The mini-episode still includes a makeover from Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Jonathan Van Ness, and Tan France — this time, it’s George, a cattle farmer and former rodeo cowboy nominated by his son.

While Jonathan, Tan, and Karamo work on George, Bobby and Antoni work on the local Yass pub, giving it a much-needed makeover, renovating the bistro and introducing a new signature dish to the menu. Read more…
