Profits at The New York Times show media dinosaurs are ruling the internet

Sinkhole opens up a block from the White House. Yes, another one.

TwitterFacebook

It figures that in the midst of the longest government shutdown in American history, the earth would literally open up a block from the grounds of White House.

Yet another sinkhole — a depression in the ground caused by a collapse of land — has opened up in Washington D.C., this time just a block from the presidential residence.

Opening up on Tuesday afternoon, the “large” sinkhole was reported by D.C. Police as being the reason for road closures on 17th Street NW between C Street and E Street NW.

On Wednesday morning a large printout of the poster was spotted in the White House, smack dab in the middle of the Cabinet Room’s table as Trump and members of his administration held a meeting.

Melania Trump defends her blood red Christmas trees

Melania Trump doesn’t care what you think of her morbid Christmas decorations. She likes them.

On Wednesday morning, after the internet dragged the first lady’s selection of White House Christmas decorations — mainly those 40 blood red trees that looked like they came straight out of The Shining — she came to their defense and explained they look beautiful in person.

“We are in 21st century and everybody has a different taste,” Trump said while speaking at Liberty University. “I think they look fantastic.”

First lady Melania Trump responds to critiques of her red Christmas trees: “We are in 21st century and everybody has a different taste. I think they look fantastic.
