The snake ‘accidentally donated to Goodwill’ has been reunited with its owner

TwitterFacebook

Good news everyone: Toki the snake has been reunited with his family after he was accidentally donated to Goodwill. Whoops!

Toki the snake had been missing for six whole months before he eventually turned up at the local Goodwill in Fort Worth, Texas. His owner, Austin Pair, left him in his covered tank with plenty of food when they vacationed in Hawaii. When Pair came back, Toki was gone.

An example of this truly delightful phenomenon is currently making the rounds on Twitter. User @laurdreyfuss‘s aunt, a vet tech, tested the soft mouth theory with her own golden retriever by presenting her with a raw egg.

The result is the tensest one minute and five seconds I have ever witnessed. But the dog — whose name is Sookie — passes with flying colors. Not only does she hold the egg with a gentleness previously only seen in Pixar shorts, but she seems reluctant to give it back. (!!) Read more…
