Another teaser for the live-action version of Aladdin dropped during the Grammys on Sunday, giving us more of a look at the much-anticipated film.

Fans saw more of Mena Massoud as Aladdin, but we also got to see Will Smith take on the important role of Genie. A very blue Genie.

A glimpse of Smith on the front cover of Entertainment Weekly was published back in December, leaving fans thinking that was the final look for Genie, and for some, perhaps wondering “why isn’t he blue?”

Rap made from Will Smith’s grunts in YouTube Rewind is better than YouTube Rewind

TwitterFacebook

There’s no easy way to say this: YouTube Rewind 2018 was … pretty cringey. But YouTuber Jacksfilms made the best of it and created a surprisingly good song out of Will Smith’s bizarre grunting. The resulting musical homage to Smith — The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air star, award-winning actor, and most recently, vlogger — is an absolute bop.

“YouTube’s hot, but he made it hotter,” Jacksfilms raps, with a lighthearted jab at the awkward fact that YouTube Rewind 2018 is the second most disliked video in the site’s history.

But maybe not for long: It’s well on its way to beating Justin Bieber’s “Baby” in dislikes. At the time of writing, a live count of the two videos shows YouTube Rewind 2018 just over 260,000 dislikes behind “Baby.”  Read more…

Will Smith went full vlogger and bungee jumped into the Grand Canyon.

The four-time Grammy winner and man Newsweek once declared “Hollywood’s Most Powerful Actor” has picked up a new hobby: YouTubing. He’s vlogged about his date with a robot, calling the international space station, and recently celebrated a YouTube milestone: one million subscribers.

To ring in the big 5-0, Smith took his vlogging to a whole new level — specifically, to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

He packed his wife and three kids into the RV he once drove from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and rolled up the Grand Canyon to confront his fear of heights. As they waited at the edge of the canyon, Smith strapped into a helicopter and prepared for the jump.  Read more…
