Snap loses its head of the engineering amid plans to overhaul Snapchat app

Snap’s senior vice president of engineering is the latest, and one of its highest paid executives that will leave the company. 

Tim Sehn is expected to announce his departure on Wednesday, according to The Information.

He’s been the head of the company’s engineering team since he joined in 2013, and is one of Snap’s highest paid. He was reportedly paid $1.4 last year, and is said to own shares valued at $40 million after the company went public earlier this year.

According to The Information, Jerry Hunter, Snap’s vice president of core engineering will replace Sehn. Read more…
