You might not know this, but apparently it’s coming home. The World Cup, that is. 

After a decidedly tense match, which had the entire nation teetering on the edge of its seat, England knocked Columbia out of the World Cup. 

First of all, England has a terrible track record with penalties at the World Cup — they’ve never won any of their previous penalty shootouts in the competition. So, when it finally happened this time around, people were chuffed (to say the absolute least).
