Amazon Prime Day: Philips Hue Smart Lighting Starter Kits are on sale for $80 off (and include an Echo)

Amazon is apparently wondering the same thing, because Prime Day 2018 is really pushing the whole hands-free voice commands thing. As if every Echo device being on sale wasn’t enough, Amazon has also dropped the price of Philips Hue Smart Lighting Starter Kits by 40% — meaning you can give two rooms a major modern upgrade for $120. Oh, and they’ll also include an Echo.

We know there’s a slight learning curve to the whole smart home idea, but Philips Hue smart bulbs are the most user-friendly devices you could ask for — they’re like the gateway drug (er, device) to a completely updated, automated home.  Read more…
