Android 9 Pie is now available, but should you update ASAP?
If you’ve got a Google Pixel, Pixel 2, or Essential Phone – the answer is yes. It’s a no-brainer update.
Sucks if you don’t own one of these phones, though, because you’ll have to wait until later this year before you can get your Pie on.
The wait should be shorter this time compared to previous Android releases because more devices have supported the release’s beta. But ultimately, it’s up to device makers to decide when they want to release Pie for their devices. Read more…
