After all the teasers and leaks, you probably have some idea of what Samsung’s next flagship will look like.

Now, however, an official image of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been leaked by none other than Samsung.

And guess what: It has a headphone jack!

The image was posted — presumably in error — on Samsung’s website, as noticed by leaker Evan Blass, and was quickly removed. Mashable managed to obtain the image from a cached version of the site; check it out in its entirety below.

It appears that the image is part of a pre-order offer for subscribers to Samsung’s New Zealand newsletter. While the phone is not yet available for pre-order, Samsung did yesterday launch a page which allows you to reserve your place in line for pre-ordering the Note 9.  Read more…

Eager to be one of the first to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone? Well, now there’s a way to make sure you will, despite the fact that the phone hasn’t even officially been announced yet.

Samsung has set up a new page on its website letting you “reserve the next Galaxy,” without actually spelling its name or any of its specs.

The page sports a short teaser video for the upcoming, S pen-equipped phone, scheduled to launch on August 9 at an event in New York City. Yes, we sort of know it’ll be the Galaxy Note 9 — the clues are there and Samsung typically launches a new Note device around this time — but it’s still weird to see a pre-order page that doesn’t specify what you’re buying.  Read more…

Samsung won’t have much to reveal at its Unpacked event on Aug. 9, where the Galaxy Note 9 is widely expected to be announced.

Thanks to a new leak from the well-connected @evleaks, we know exactly what the Note 9 will look like from the front and back.

Previous case leaks already spoiled the Note 9, revealing a design that’s similar to the Note 8

The latest leak, however, shows the phone in its full glory — there’s a lot we can extract from the single photo.

Samsung reportedly planning an August reveal for the Galaxy Note 9

TwitterFacebook

Like clockwork, the dog days of summer look set to bring revelations about Samsung’s next super-sized Galaxy smartphone.

The Galaxy Note 9 is reportedly pegged for an Aug. 9 reveal, according to Bloomberg. It’s not quite confirmed, with the site pointing only to “people familiar with the matter,” but August makes sense.

Last year’s Galaxy Note 8 was revealed in Aug. 2017, with the smartphone subsequently releasing in September. Bloomberg suggests that the Note 9 will be revealed during a similar “Unpacked” event in New York, but it will happen a couple weeks earlier than the last one, which fell on Aug. 23. Read more…
