Earning a black belt in Six Sigma project management won’t help you defend yourself with sweet jiu-jitsu moves, but it will certainly be useful when it comes to your career. Like most martial arts practices, Six Sigma uses a belt system to gauge your mastery of its project management methodologies and prove that you have amassed all the knowledge and training to propel a company forward. 

Those with black and green belts are deemed indispensable and can demand a hefty take-home from their respective employers. How hefty, you ask? Certified black belters can make up to $99,000 a year (on average), while those with green belt training can make $83,000.  Read more…
