Guess what? Getting an MBA is not the only way to give yourself a career boost. A field that often gets overlooked is project management, which is an in-demand and fast-growing field.
But not everybody needs to know that. While everyone else is clamoring to get an MBA, why not opt for the road not (so often) taken and train to become a project manager? If point guards are the ones responsible for controlling the ball and making sure it gets passed to the right players in a game of basketball, project managers are the playmakers and change agents in an organization.
