Rome spent $57,000 on the world’s saddest excuse for a Christmas tree

Christmas trees come in all different shapes and sizes.

There are tall, bushy ones. Miniature ones that sit on your table top. Fake ones. Real ones.

Then there’s this 65ft one in Rome’s Piazza Venezia, which cost a solid €48,000 ($57,000) in transport fees and pretty much has more baubles than pine needles:
