Earbuds are essentially designed to shoot sound directly at your eardrums. Damaging? Probably. Fun? Absolutely. As good as surround-sound in a home theater? Definitely not.

The makers of the 360 5.1 Virtual Surround Sound Earbuds decided it was time to change that. These buds supposedly pack a unique, patented technology that will supposedly make you feel like you’re sitting in the recording studio.
