This robotic cowboy is making cattle herding much safer

Robotic cattle drivers do exist and they are being deployed across Cargill’s plants in the U.S. and Canada. The company hopes that the robotic cowboys will improve safety in its facilities because there will be no need for staff to be in close proximity to the animals. Employees are standing on a catwalk above the pen, and they are using joysticks to operate the robotic drivers. Read more…
