$1.3 million vodka which appeared in ‘House of Cards’ stolen from bar

While people might steal art, cars, or a whole lot of Bitcoin, one thief is on the run after allegedly stealing a very expensive bottle of vodka.

A bottle of Russo-Baltique vodka claimed to be worth $1.3 million was taken in the early hours of Tuesday morning from Café 33, a bar located in Copenhagen, Denmark, according to TV2 Lorry.

Released by Latvian luxury armored vehicle maker Dartz, the vodka is the only one of its kind, and appeared in an episode of House of Cards.

The bottle is constructed from three kilograms of gold and three kilograms of silver, and has a leather strap from a 1912 Monte Carlo rally car. Read more…
