After 100 years, Hershey’s decided to take a new product into a golden direction

For the first time in 100 years, the real world Wonka Factory is coming out with their own golden ticket. 

Starting next month, Hershey’s is launching Hershey’s Gold – a golden caramelized crème candy bar made with peanuts and pretzels. 

In no way shape or form is it a chocolate bar (so don’t even try labeling it as such).

According to Hershey’s press release, the golden candy is the first “mass-market, golden créme confection in the U.S.” It’s also their first new bar to hit the shelves since 1995’s Cookies ‘n Creme.  Read more…
