Any interest in calling scrunchies ‘hair clouds’?

Hair scrunchies: the latest trend declared to be “back” despite having never really left.

Or perhaps they just never left for me, a person who is devoted to the single blue scrunchie I purchased for $1 at a doomed American Apparel store. It doesn’t leave a crease! 

Anyway, Women’s Wear Daily thinks you’ll be seeing a lot more of the puffy hair ties in the coming months. This isn’t really surprising: the scrunchie is already sold at stores like Urban Outfitters, Lululemon, and Free People, and has graced the heads of ’80s revivalists for years.
