Remember Apple’s Animoji? Well, they just got even more … interesting … with “tongue detection.”
During the unveil for the iPhone X last year, Apple introduced Animoji, which are 3D emoji capable of replicating your facial expressions and voice. On Monday, Apple added a tongue detecting feature, which they announced at the annual developer’s conference. This, we presume, will likely only be used for sexting.

“Animoji do such an amazing job at tracking our expressions, and this year, we’re taking Animoji to a whole new level with breakthrough new technology we call tongue detection,” Craig Federighi, Apple’s SVP of software engineering, told the crowd of developers at WWDC as a 3D monkey, unicorn, alien, and robot on screen stuck their tongues out at them.
