Bear Grylls shows you how to make fire with a packet of gum, a battery and some fluff

In case of shark attack he recommends you swim towards the shark, but just hear him out.

Bear Grylls was a guest on This Morning on Thursday and showed hosts Philip and Holly how to make fire from a pack of chewing gum, a battery and a bit of fluff.

Simply use the foil from the gum packet to connect the ends of the battery, and hold it near the fluff for kindling.
