Beyoncé and Jay Z bring art to the Louvre in their ‘Apesh*t’ video

The Carters bowled over an unsuspecting internet on Saturday afternoon when, without warning, they released a new joint album on Tidal. The 9-track “Love Is Everything” is wall-to-wall bangers, but even still, “Apeshit” stands out.

Beyoncé teased the album’s first video on Saturday with a snippet posted to Instagram. The 6-minute cut follows Bey and husband Jay Z on a dance-filled tour through the famed French art museum, the Louvre.

The Louvre is a piece of history unto itself, with the art museum built into a palace that was constructed in the 13th century. It’s already home to some of the most famous works of art on the planet. And now, “Apeshit” adds one more. Read more…
