Beyoncé brings Jay-Z and a Destiny’s Child reunion to ‘Beychella’

“I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife.”

Beyoncé is back. After bailing on her headlining spot at 2017’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival due to her pregnancy, Queen Bey finally had her moment. It was a big one for Coachella too: She was the first woman of color to headline the festival.

In a two-hour Saturday night set filled with surprises, guest appearances by Bey’s husband Jay-Z and sister Solange weren’t even the highlights. That distinction belongs to Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, who stepped out onto the stage toward the end of the set for a full-blown Destiny’s Child reunion. Read more…
