Get salon quality blowouts at home for less than a DryBar appointment

If you want the full, smooth, bouncy hair you get after a salon blowout from your home beauty routine, you’re going to need to invest in a quality hair dryer. The fancy ones these days use ionic technology, which means they emit negative ions that break down the water molecules in your hair, helping it dry faster. Materials like tourmaline and ceramic get hotter than traditional metal coils, which also shortens drying time. Shorter drying time means less damage which means smoother, fuller, healthier hair. Bright blue eyebrows aren’t just for Millhouse anymore.

To be clear, the bright brow trend isn’t new — people have been trying it out for years — but it seems poised to become more commonplace in the coming months. Honestly, why not? Don’t worry; it’s not as traumatizing as it sounds. In fact, the videos are incredibly satisfying — in a candle-carving, makeup-destroying, DIY-sliming kind of way.
In each video, Andrea uses a knife to cut a bath bomb into relatively even slices. Then, she makes another set of lengthwise cuts and voilà! The bath bomb is a set of cuboid chunks. Read more…
