This leather bin bag costs $423 and yes, fashion is literally trash

As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

But we’re not sure if this leather bin bag by Spanish brand BIIS is either. 

The bag, which retails for up to $423 (€360), is made of real Spanish leather and according to the website, “looks like a real plastic trash bag.”

Moschino is selling a dry cleaning bag as a dress for $737 and everything is trash

Back in February this year, Moschino staged a runway show worthy of a Zoolander finale: an entire collection inspired by and made from trash.

Sashaying along the Milan Fashion Week runway, the Jeremy Scott-designed Fall/Winter 2017 line raised eyebrows, trolling us all with tongue-in-cheek sass and subtle sustainability messaging. It was quite something.

Couture fashioned from and inspired by thrown-away plastic bags, tissues, cardboard boxes was the talk of the week — and it’s the kind of Dadaist theatricality fashion gets shit for all the time.  Read more…
