Joe Jonas won hearts and Halloween itself on Saturday night with one of the best one-sided couple costumes we’ve ever seen.

Going as the ultimate stan of his bride-to-be, Sophie Turner, Jonas attended a costume party dressed as Sansa Stark, her Game of Thrones character. Meanwhile, the actress behind Sansa went as… an elephant. Perfection.

In case the iconic red wig wasn’t a dead giveaway, Jonas even posted a video of his dramatic entrance as Sansa with the Game of Thrones credits music playing in the background of his Insta story. We’re not sure if it was a great idea to also add a GIF of Sansa’s almost-husband, Tyrion Lannister, to the video — but at least Jon looks like he approves. Read more…

Maisie Williams will be Sophie Turner’s bridesmaid because Stark sisters stick together

The Stark sisters haven’t always had the best wedding experiences in Game of Thrones. But Sophie Turner (who plays Sansa Stark) is changing that by inviting her co-star Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Joe Jonas.

In a Radio Times interview for her upcoming film Early Man, Williams was asked if she was “bidding for a role as bridesmaid” in Turner’s wedding.

“Oh I’ve already got it!” she said, rolling her eyes at the idea that she’d have to even try. “It’s very, very exciting — but it’s kind of bizarre, though.”

Jon Snow knows nothing, but Sansa Stark apparently knows plenty — including when the final season of Game of Thrones will air.

Speaking to Variety, Sophie Turner seemed to confirm months of speculation that Game of Thrones won’t launch its eighth and final season next year, but will instead hold the much anticipated series finale until 2019.

“We started in October, so we’re maybe like a tenth of the way through,” Turner joked when asked how filming was progressing on Season 8. “No, no, we’ve got six or seven months left.”  Read more…
