Chris Pratt’s 9-point speech at the MTV Awards is totally bonkers

Awards show speeches can often be a bit of an unpredictable affair.

Just watch Chris Pratt’s one above. While receiving the MTV “Generation” Award on Monday night, Pratt decided to use his time in the spotlight to deliver something he called “9 Rules from Chris Pratt” to the next generation.

We’ve outlined each one below, and — needless to say — they cover an impressively wide spectrum…

1. “Breathe — If you don’t, you’ll suffocate.”

2. “You have a soul. Be careful with it.”
