Claire Foy gets decidedly un-royal in ‘The Girl in the Spider’s Web’ trailer

Seven years after The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (nine years after the Danish original), Lisbeth Salander is back in The Girl in the Spider’s Web. In its first trailer, director Fede Álvarez’s take on the action-packed book series is every bit as ruthless and dark as its source material.

This time around, Lisbeth has developed a degree of notoriety as the “righter of wrongs,” and “the girl who hurts men who hurt women.” She’s haunted by a memory of her past which will eventually lead Lisbeth to something called the Spider Society – a twisted web of its own. Read more…
