Facebook swears released internal emails are just ‘one side of the story’

Guys, there’s really no reason to get worked up about all of thisFacebook promises. 

Following the release of 250 pages of internal Facebook emails and documents by UK lawmakers, everyone’s favorite social media platform published a lengthy statement assuring us that things really aren’t as bad as they first look. And it’s not like Facebook, your old friend, would ever mislead you.

The statement, issued the same day the documents were released, seeks to paint the trove of emails as a biased excerpt which casts Facebook in the most negative of lights.
