Florida man faces eviction over emotional-support squirrel

Never get in the way of a man and his pet…even if it’s a nut-loving rodent. 

Ryan Boylan was issued a notice from his condo to get rid of Brutis the squirrel or face eviction. For Boylan the option was simple…the squirrel stays. 

According to WFLA News, property management at the Island Walk Condominiums discovered the squirrel in April and filed a compliant with the condo association. 

The Clearwater Beach resident is fighting to keep his service animal of two years and no management is going to stop him. The association has a no exotic animals policy in order to protect residents and hey, a squirrel can be pretty exotic next to snakes and alligators. Read more…
