‘Fortnite’ Season 4 just started, making this a great time to get into ‘Fortnite’

The new, fourth season of Fortnite is here, and it’s all about the superheroes.

Epic Games kicked off Season 4 in its global hit on May 1 with a big update that introduces new features, new challenges, and piles upon piles of sweet, delicious loot. The popular battle royale side of the game is free-to-play, but getting in on the seasonal fun carries a small price.

A quick refresher for those of you coming in cold: Fortnite is a two-headed online game. On one side is “Save the World,” a cooperative online game that’s sort of like a mix between tower defense games, where enemies swarm into a map toward a central point you must defend, and Minecraft.
