Goats on the lam were rescued after getting stranded on the side of a bridge

Two goats on the lam from a Pennsylvania farm had their dreams of a life on the road dashed after severely miscalculating how to successfully cross a bridge.

Per a post from the Pennsylvania Turnpike official Facebook page, the goats were rescued Tuesday after finding themselves stranded on the beam of a bridge above the Mahoning River. 

Photos from the scene show the pair in peril. 

First spotted by local police, the post notes that the resulting rescue mission was a joint effort between the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  Read more…
