Interactive reboot of the Cold War sci-fi flick ‘WarGames’ is out this month

#WarGames is almost here.

Her Story creator Sam Barlow is almost ready to drop his next project, a reboot of the Cold War-era sci-fi classic, WarGames. It seems to ditch the original’s story — in which a young hacker breaks into a government computer and accidentally almost triggers a global war — in favor of a more modern take.

Kelly is a young hacktivist who, along with her international team of fellow hackers, attempts to “bring about world peace,” according to the latest reveal. There’s also something about Kelly seeking justice for her family. Maintaining an air of mystery is part of the intent here. Read more…
