Lana Del Rey is retiring a song with a Weinstein-type reference

Lana Del Rey has said she’s retiring a 2012 song that has an indirect reference to Harvey Weinstein, following the sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape accusations surrounding the Hollywood movie mogul.  

Del Rey told MTV the song “Cola,” from the Paradise EP will no longer be part of her live performances. She also confirmed the song has a Weinstein-kind of reference:

The artist, who will hit the road in January 2018 for her L.A. to the Moon Tour, said she didn’t feel “comfortable” singing “Cola” after the deluge of allegations against Weinstein surfaced in the past few weeks.  Read more…
