Mindy Kaling burns Trump twice in powerful commencement speech

The President got not one, but two shout-outs in Mindy Kaling’s recent Dartmouth commencement speech. We doubt he’ll be particularly pleased with either, though.

On Sunday, the Ocean’s 8 star took to the stage in front of a sea of graduates to speak for 17 minutes on a number of different topics.

It wasn’t too long before Donald Trump’s name came up.

“You’re graduating into a world where it seems like everything is falling apart,” said Kaling. “Trust in institutions are at an all-time low, the truth doesn’t seem to matter anymore, and for all I know the President just tweeted us into a war with Wakanda, a country that doesn’t exist.” Read more…
